Although it was initially difficult to coordinate my schedule and Jeff's (owner of AOS Fence) he was very professional, and called when he said he would. Once Jeff and his crew started the fence they completed in 2 days with excellent quality. Jeff is very knowledgeable about the products and looks at the "entire picture" to make sure the installation goes smoothly and efficiently. Jeff was always available for any questions I had and answered them accurately and quickly. I am extremely pleased with our privacy fence and with Jeff and AOS Fence. I would definitely use Jeff and AOS Fence in the future for any other services I needed.

I got AOS's name from Angie's List., along with several other fence companies.  Jeff  was prompt in responding to my call and showed up at my house on time.  He was quick to  email me several different bids (we were considering vinyl vs. wood and wanted comparisons). After receiving a number of bids, I finally informed him that we were going to go with his company but changed our  minds on some things, he promptly revised the bid and emailed the same day.  Communication was good and he kept us informed of when they would be out to build our fence, which was several weeks out. 
Jeremy and Jeff, brothers and owners, are the nicest guys you could meet. They are courteous, professional and just really conscientious of their work. The guys cleaned up after themselves and were just pleasant to have around.  The other reviewers are correct, these are folks you wouldn't  mind having as your next door neighbors. They knew we were building the fence for our dogs and children, and checked in with us if the wire mesh on the fence and side gates was to our satisfaction so the dogs couldn't get out, and that the gates swung shut automatically if the kids opened it and didn't shut it.  They made sure to have the post and fence in alignment with the curves (we don't have a straight backyard) of our property.   When there was an unexpected snag with the placement of the side gates because of a drainage pipe in the ground, they were able to troubleshoot and create a solution and hand dig holes to ensure our drain pipes wouldn't be hit by the auger.   Our backyard looks fabulous with our new fence and we have gotten compliments from our neighbors. Now our yard is the dog park of the neighborhood, everyone has brought their dogs down to run around and play.   I also found out that Jeff and Jeremy do tree work, and will be getting an estimate from them later this summer to cut down dying ash trees in our yard.  
They were not the cheapest bid I received, but as my father always said "cheap is expensive and expensive is cheap"  in other words, you get what you paid for.  Im glad I read the reviews here, and I highly recommend AOS if you are thinking of getting a new fence or need repair work.

From the time of the initial estimate through the install Jeff was professional and courteous. There were a few delays on my end (I needed trees removed and a permit) and they were flexible with the hold ups. My yard is not very flat, but they had no trouble at all installing the fence on a grade. He even recommended installing a 5 foot gate on the left side of my house instead of the standard 4 foot gate, because I was a foot short and the cost of the wider gate was cheaper than another segment of the aluminum fence.

Jeff (one of the owners) came out and gave us an estimate for several different kinds of fencing available with all prices for the different kinds of fences. Each estimate came with a full description. It was a little bit detailed, so I called Jeff to have him explain it to me. He (again) was very helpful. The only thing I wasn't aware of...was the the install date. Luckily, it was earlier date than expected. Jeff checked in with me after the install to see if I was satisfied witht he completed fence. I was not present for the install, but my husband was there. During the install, it started pouring down rain. Jeff and his crew did not stop working. They completed the job , in it's entirety, even though it was pouring rain. The fence is sturdy and beautiful. The gate was made by hand and it's beautiful. Several other little things were worked on, such as reinforcement for our steps out to the backyard. There was an extra piece of fencing that needed to be installed in the rear corner to keep the yard incased in fencing. Jeff made it easy for us to have these extra tasks completed and it was included on our estimate. Nothing was shorted or forgotten. Everything is beautiful. We are well pleased with AOS Fencing LLC. we would definitely use them again, if needed.

They were excellent, efficient, polite and knowledgeable.  Jeff cautioned me against a split rail fence as the area was sloping and it would be easy for my dog to dig under it.   I was particularly concerned that have I have safe area for my dogs to go into and not run the risk of them digging under the fence.  They put an additional wire under the bottom to make it difficult for the dogs to dig.  
These men were clean cut, professional and respectful.  E-mails were promptly answered, the bid was clear as well as lower than the 3 other estimates that I got.

I have had a lot of work done to my house over the past few years and these guys are probably the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with.  They took their time to explain the various options, listend to any concerns I had, and always got back with me in a timely manner when I had questions.  The company is owned by 2 brothers and they do the jobs themselves, no sub contractors.  I was very impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of these 2 guys.

I recently constructed a new home and needed a fence for my two small dogs.  I researched several fence companies, all of which were significantly higher than AOS's estimates.  From start to finish, Jeff provided unbelievable attention to detail.  He was not scared off by the rock or steep grade.  Not only did he complete the fence in a day and a half, he cleaned up the entire property and discarded excess rock.  Upon completion, two of my neighbors were so impressed by the finished product that they asked for estimates on their property.  I appreciate everything that AOS provided and hope I can work with them in the future!

I am a small business owner and have had to contract work over the last nine years.  This was one of my best experiences working with a company.  The owner Jeff Luman worked with us to coordinate the payments from the driver who had caused the damage.  
Jeff returned calls promptly and called me to keep me in the loop as to the progress of the negotiations and time frame for the work.  He and his brother Jeremy did the work.  Both men were congenial and professional.  They also replaced a post and adjusted an entry gate (Also moved during the accident) that were not included in the original quote with no additional cost to me.  
I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I had a chainlink fencepost that was in need of replacement so I called Advanced Outdoor Services after checking Angie's List reviews.  Owner Jeff Luman was immediately available to visit the worksite; he arrived on time and ready to go.  I first spoke with him about his background, experience, and the history of his company.  Jeff was straightforwardly forthcoming in response to my questions as he engaged me in a comfortably professional manner.  Having looked over the fence, he gave me an oral estimate...and had followed it up by e-mail before I arrived back at my office.

Which brings up the issue of communication: he's excellent.  Responses to e-mails and text messages usually arrived within minutes.
A work date was set for later in the week...and it ended up coinciding with a day that found several feet of dirt from another project edging onto the fence.  I warned Jeff about it but it just wasn't a problem to him: mission accomplished on time and at the quoted price.  He and his brother, Jeremy (cut from the same cloth as Jeff) did a very fine job on the fence repair. 
The bottom line is that these are the kind of guys you want working on your home: likable and trustworthy with a humbly confident and service-oriented approach to their craft.

Jeff and Jeremy, the principal owners were the consummate professionals from start to finish.  They met every promise they made even though Jeff sustained an ankle injury that required the use of crutches; he still was on site every day and crafted the custom deck gate himself mostly from a sitting position (the completed gate matched the deck lattice perfectly, not an easy task).  Their work exceeded my expectations and was of the highest quality in every way and their price very reasonable for the quality of the finished product.  The supervisor of the landscaping crew that was making some landscaping changes to our back yard commented several times on their work effort and quality of their finished product.  As an added plus, they were exceptionally pleasant and easy to work with and always had a "can do" attitude when we added difficult extras not originally contemplated like the custom deck gate.  I give them my highest recommendation for work, quality and value.

The Luman brothers showed up when they said they would for both the estimate and the work.  They were quite personable, efficient and hard-working, paying attention to detail, down to making sure the handle on one of the gates aligned and closed perfectly.  They were neat and left a clean work site, even taking my old fence to recycle rather than throw out.  Recycling is important to me.  I am thinking about having some tree work done and they would be my candidates for that, too.

I had three rotten wooden fence posts in my split rail fencing. Each of them was concreted in the ground with several bags of concrete. Two of them had a gate hanging from them. The three posts needed replacing and this was NOT a job my husband and I wanted to do. We replaced one ourselves before and I can tell you it's backbreaking work. So I called Jeff at Advanced Outdoor Services and left a message. He got back to me within 20 minutes. I explained the problem and he gave me a quote on the phone. In just a few days, he was at my house with two other men and they went right to work. They used a jackhammer and portable generator to break up the concrete after digging down to it by hand. They checked in with me to make sure they did everything exactly like I wanted (such as the heIght of where to re-hang the gate). Despite the hard work and heat, they were professional, positive, and friendlly at all times and worked straight through for 4 hours to get the job done without any breaks or standing around. I was WELL WORTH the money and I will absolutely call them next time I need fencing work. In the wet soils arond my house, split rail posts need to be replaced every 10 years or so because they rot. I figure I'll be replacing severall old posts every year, and I've already planned to call them back next spring to replace a few more. This a a family business and boy do they earn their money. I highly recommend them!

AOS set up a date to install the fence.  They were there promptly when they said they would be, worked all day and my fence was installed as promised by the end of the day and looks fantastic.  They guys who installed the fence were very courteous and professional and a pleasure to do business with.  I will be contacting them again in the future to have a fence installed on the other side of the hillside.  Great Company to work with and they do quality work.  I would highly recommend them!!
